Hey! So we were commenting back and forth on Sara's journal so I clicked on your profile and I think we'd make good LJ friends! I'm Chelsea, I'm 25, I live in New York City, I'm a post-college pre-med student. My LJing is going to spotty for the next ten days as I'm taking the MCAT at the end of the month, but friends?
Definitely friends! I did an intro post not too long ago if you'd like to know what you're getting in for ;)
I'm going back to uni myself in.. oh.. just under two weeks, so I do understand the necessity of taking time out for study from time to time. And, my goodness, New York is my favourite city ever! I think we'll get along just fine.
Hey there, I've added you and maybe you could add me back? I'm 27 years old and also I'm Australian like you! :) I think we'd get along pretty well (I also have a love of travelling and baking!) Add me back!? :)
Hi! I love when people with mutual friends add me, and we've got ___tornprincess, afterthedreams AND princesschaplin (none of whom share any obvious connections to one another?) in common which means you must be awesome :) Definitely added you back!
I posted the link to my intro post from a couple of months ago just above you to chelsearar. Please feel free to check that out as a quick crash course on who I am, and I'd love to read one of yours if you have something already!
Also, apologies for the first entry on my feed from last night. Certainly not the norm for my LJ, but it was a bad, bad night. Just thought I'd better say so in case I scared you off ;)
Of course! I adore Elisa (and Silvia!) and any friends of hers (theirs) are fine by me :) Hi, I'm Caz! The second two paragraphs in the above message to deadexplosion still applies as I wrote that just yesterday.
Looking forward to getting to know you! And, of course, please direct me to any pre-filled intro posts you might already have :)
It's only showing up if you click to my journal directly. It's a sticky post so it will always be at the top for new friends. Makes it easier for me, too!
I saw your LJ icon on three_oh_five's journal and thought it was beautiful, so I checked out your profile and I think we have a lot in common. I don't know if you're accepting strangers as friends, but I thought I'd try!
I'm in the US and sell costume gowns on Etsy. I live with my husband and our two cats. Most of my recent journaling is whining about financial problems that resulted from my husband losing his job. He's been at his new job for 18 months and our debt is disappearing - hopefully soon, my journal will be back to costumes, conventions, and travel adventures.
I don't, I should make one! I don't usually do random friending, but so many of my friends have stopped writing that I'm looking for reinforcements. Thank you! :D
Well, if it helps, I've been on LJ for nearly 13 years and don't plan on leaving any time soon! I think most of us "long haulers" know what the disappearing friends list is like, and I say boo to it all. Happy to make new friends with others in the same boat! I'm midway through a set of travel recaps from a very recent trip through South-East Asia, but I should be back to semi-regular posting soon :)
A little out of the blue, but I'm Elizabeth and I was just perusing LJ, looking to make new friends. It was your user icon and subtitle that caught my eye. Hope you are having a lovely weekend!
Thank you for adding me! I'm always up for new friends, especially since active users are getting harder and harder to find :) I posted a link a couple of comments up with my most recent About Me post, if you're interested, and please let me know if you have anything like that I should see :)
Hello! Of course - you come with two of the best "references" known to LJ ;) I will warn you, however, as I just posted, that I'm heading off to Hawaii tomorrow for two weeks. I won't be around for a little while, but I will most definitely be back, and hopefully with something worth sharing ;) I posted a link to my last "intro post" a few comments up, which you should now be able to see as I've added you back!
Hi, I'm looking for new contacts on LJ and you are friend of the lovely crazyringlets, falena84 and silviarambles :) Is it ok if I add you to my flist? I have to warn you that I write mostly in Italian, but I love to read (and comment) in English: is this a problem for you? Thanks.
I guess we won't know unless we try! Those are some pretty great common friends, so I'm already thinking positively about it :) I do need to warn you, though - I'm mid way through posting a rather large series of pictures from a recent 8 week trip through North America, with fewer real life entries in between than usual in the meantime, so if that's cool with you then let's do it!
Hello I believe I directed myself to your journal from a friending meme needless to say I read your profile and we should be friends because I also believe that belly buttons are not for poking!
heyy im so sorry ive been slack with lj, not just updating but looking at others journals. ive had a massive health crisis since last year and ive written an entry, almost to update but its so hard between the 2 kids and everything thats been going on. i have not forgotten you. and i do come and read now and then (and i start commenting and then a kid, or the dog or hubby gets my mind off track). so sorry again. i do mean to come back soon (i keep saying!).
Hey hon, it wasn't anything personal, I remove journals that are no longer active and I thought you weren't coming back! I hope you're okay, and I'll re-add you now x
haha dont worry love def didnt take pit personally. i have been away for ages! I have all the best intentions to get back on here and write. lets see if it happens !
I noticed you on mutual friends pages and would love to add you! We have a lot in common! I love dogs (have one) and baking and love daydreaming about traveling more someday plus I have a husband I’ve been with for over 10 years! Let me know if I can add you? :)
Hi, I stumbled across you on becofoz's page. I'm also a Melburnian around your age, although currently living in Japan. Do you mind if I friend you? Most of my original LJ friends have moved on, and I've been looking for new friends who actually post this year :)
Gosh, using a blogging system is so weird after so many years of social media.
Anyway. It's Jess! I'm hoping for a fresh start on this one so not porting my old entries but hoping to keep up with you. Maybe we'll manage that hot chocolate eventually xx
Yay! I'm so happy to see your (new) name pop up. I hope you find your way back to journalling again at some point, and yes, yes, a thousand times yes to hot chocolate before the turn of the next decade, please <3

I've never been to New Zealand before, which is ridiculous given how close we are! When are you getting married?

Just in case there was ever any doubt (which there isn't), you are AMAZING.
I am definitely, 100% applying for this. I can't thank you enough for bringing this to my attention! This is wonderful - and so are you! <3
(I hope you come back to LJ and join us in the land of picky and complain-y again soon!)
